Yesterday a Russian Su-25UB was seen over the skies of Latakia. It is the first time they are seen in Syria since March 2016, when they were retired. Back then they carried out 1,600 missions and dropped 6,000 bombs.
Previous aircraft were Su-25SMs. It is a bit surprising to see this variant in Syria because sighting/navigation equipment is not as advanced.
